The Department of Mechanical Engineering, established in 2010, has been prosperous in moulding brilliant engineers with outstanding academic records and practical knowledge. The spectrum of professional activity for the graduates runs from research through design and development to manufacturing and sales. The industry is in need of qualified mechanical engineering technologists that, upon graduation, they are able to apply state-of-the-art tools in the areas of computer-aided design, finite element modelling and analysis, and the concepts of advanced mechanical design to the creation of sophisticated machines and systems.

Prof. Dr.Ranbir Sinha heads the department with a faculty quorum consisting of two Professors and Associate Professors, two Assistant Professors and Four Lecturers.
